The circles with intersecting lines represent circular and elliptical movement, jujutsu and blade work as some examples and the intersecting lines refer to the triangulation footwork of filipino martial arts.

The diamond with four triangles represent the structure of the body in a defensive posture; additionally it represents the three dimensional pyramidal base from grappling/ground fighting. The Four triangles represent the four ranges of combat: leg, arm, standup & ground grappling and weapon.

The Octagon represents weaponry as the external of our internal art. Each angle demonstrates the weapon extending from the body: Additionally, it refers to Analytical Combat and its Four Themes Theory; split in half the octagon becomes two fours: the upper and lower hemispheres of the body.
